Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting a quote, engaging our services, or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the relationship between Taylor and Bolan Building Services (`"`The Contractor`"`) and the Client.

2. Quotes and Estimates

• All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue due to fluctuating material costs.
• Estimates are subject to change if the scope of work is altered or if unforeseen structural issues are discovered during the build.
• A written `"`Scope of Work`"` will be provided and must be agreed upon before work commences.

3. Payment Terms

To ensure project continuity, our standard payment structure is as follows:

• Deposit: Required to secure a start date and order initial materials.
• Stage Payments: For larger projects (extensions, renovations), payments will be required at agreed milestones.
• Final Balance: Payable immediately upon practical completion of the work.

Late payments may result in the suspension of work on-site.

4. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth project, the Client agrees to:

• Provide clear access to the work site and welfare facilities (water, electricity, etc.).
• Obtain all necessary Planning Permissions or Building Regulations approval unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Ensure the work area is clear of personal belongings and furniture prior to the start date.

5. Materials and Ownership

All materials delivered to the site remain the property of Taylor and Bolan Building Services until the final invoice has been paid in full. We reserve the right to remove any unpaid materials from the site if payment terms are breached.

6. Liability & Guarantee

We carry full Public Liability Insurance. We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 12 months from completion. This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, structural movement beyond our control, or issues caused by third-party materials or products.

7. Cancellations

Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled start date may result in a loss of deposit to cover pre-ordered materials and lost labor time.
